Curious to know...Do you take playmoney games serious? Or are they simply a way to play like you don't care? I sometimes find myself playing them more seriously than real freeroll games or micro-stakes.

Generally, I use them for practice, but sometimes they are the I DO NOT CARE what happens game...come to think of it...so are those cash games from time to time.

Sometimes FULL TILT happens no matter where you are.

Hope it is not on the bubble or in a big cash game.

Personally I don't play them any more.
They tend to distract me and give me a don't care attitude.

hello

I play all tournaments the same with their behavior and tactics, be they freeroll or play money ... and I am not bored by free tournaments ...

Hello.
I do not play such games at all. In my opinion, they are designed only so that the player can thoroughly familiarize themselves with the functionality of the gaming platform. But nevertheless I take freerolls seriously. :)

I don't play real free money games but if I did I would play them crazy aggro like everyone plays me in real freerolls. practice
but if you mean our CC special events games which are played at play money sites then
yes I take them very serious;)
in reality, any freeroll is a play-money game but with a chance to win real money IMO.
just happy to know that you take some games serious, I would have guessed otherwise :p

Good afternoon.I prefer to play freerolls ,instead since you can not only practice your game but also win ,if you are lucky, some money.I find playing play money games boring.

I used to do playmoney when I first started playing poker, and I enjoyed it a lot, always tried my best and got excited when I entered "the money" lol.

I don't play using playmoney anymore... In all honesty, it's just a waste of time if you have a bankroll... Don't want to risk losing it all, then play micro limits.

Play money has some serious competitors, particularly when there is a reward or prize structure to win. I find play style though to be not as applicable to real money games.

Hey
Personally, I have not played for play money for a long time, I just cannot take such a game seriously, and there is no time for it.

Have not played with free chips in a very long time. When I did, it was taking seriously. Remember winning a long tournament and getting a screen shot as a reward. After that, made a deposit and never looked back.

I rarely play playmoney games, I only played for a couple of weeks when I was starting to play poker. But I think I would play like I play freerolls because I think the level of players are the same.

I usually find that the level of competition at those playmoney games are far inferior to what you would be able to find at a freeroll or microstakes level, so I don't put as much thought into what I do there as compared to games with money on the line.

I take them seriously because I started playing tournaments to compete. In the past I have competed in small bore rifle and sporting clays, where the "payout" for success was a trophy, a plaque, a pin, or just a pat on the back and congratulations for doing well. That's not to say I don't enjoy winning money in a poker tournament, but the winning and having my accomplishment recognized by my peers is much more important to me. :)

No, I don't take play money games seriously anymore.....

When I started in poker back in the early 10s, I played a ton of play money.

I will never again play "play money" poker. I don't think it has any merit anymore for me.

I don't take gambling seriously. If such games are taken seriously, then you can become addicted to gambling.

Most of the time I take poker seriously, but sometimes I play inexpensive tournaments just for fun, but this happens quite rarely and I don’t play with playmoney money, except for the CC league !!!
