You just need to sit and play! Once I decided to lie down, because it was too late and I fell asleep on a break... so it's better to sit!

I don't think so, it certainly wouldn't do any good for the spine.

Think about it, seriously how many hours a day lying down how many days a week?

I play poker lying down, for me it's more convenient that way because I have back pain and playing lying down doesn't feel pain and as I'm used to it, it makes it easier

I prefer sitting at a desk or table for comfort and focus. Standing desks are an option or lying on the couch but I find them less comfortable. The choice depends on personal preference:cool:

Great question from the post author. I always wondered what position Cardschat players play in and was pleasantly surprised that many play prone, like me. And I thought, am I really strange, playing poker lying down:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Sitting down in my Sitting room. Usually with the TV on, when the table is very slow.

I play poker sitting at the computer, if I played lying down, I probably thought of something else instead of poker.

In my opinion it's important to have a comfortable position to relax while playing poker. I prefer a good sitting position behind the computer desk and maybe a glass of water or little snack like nuts or fruits on side. It is better you take ya time for drink/snack when you still watching the game and when 5 min brake starts, I go to get some fresh air and short stretching.

I always sit down. I have my convenient chair and 2 external screens on my desktop attached to my Laptop so it's definitely more convenient than lying or sitting on the couch with one screen/laptop only.

That's why I prefer to play on my mobile if there are few tables and so I can lie down if I get tired. Playing on a PC means spending 5 or 6 hours sitting in one position and that wears you out at the end of the day

It depends on if i'm playing seriously or just for fun (like some freeroll or satellite)
During pandemics i've learnt that is really important to separate the work place and the resting place, so your subconcious won't mix them up
