Change Seat Option

Does anyone else wish that there was a change seat option for online poker? Many times I want to be able to change seats when a player leaves so I can be left of certain people. Many times you have to leave the table and come back and usually their is a wait list for the table.

The option to change seats would give you some advantage during the game. But you are for fair play, aren't you?

Changing seats is not something that I would use if it existed ..... what I do is change the table when I am not comfortable for some particular reason. Good hands.

Yeah I don’t think that would technically be fair but it would be nice to get every advantage I could too. Can I Play from the button every hand?

I mean to change seats when someone gets up from the table you have the option to move your seat. Same option you have at a live poker setting, when someone gets up you can move if you have a change seat option.

For example, you can change your position and distance yourself from the approach of the blinds. You can also sit next to a weak player or put pressure on a player with a short stack. This is why such things are unacceptable.

I think some players will take advantages from that switch and that's why it's not possible

It would make bum hunting even more painfully obvious, that it already is. Just imagine a live game in a casino, where the player to your left stands up, and right away 4 other players are asking to be moved to that seat

happens daily..

I too wish we could switch seats rather than new players getting first dibs.

I just keep the same seat and play accordingly to who are before and after me to act.

I remember some poker clients having this option years ago. Ultimatebet being one of them.

I think it's a lucky thing to change tables. It has been the case for me many times that I didn’t get a card over the jack at the current table. after they were transplanted everything set off as it should. I admit there was also someone I couldn't play with because I was better in preflop and on the flop in vain because he was better on the river. Long live the table change

honestly bro, the ideal is that you learn to play in any position and once seated take your game forward and not try to move.

It's a good option for regulars but so bad for recreational players, I don't like that.
