Using automated players (bots) in a poker room is a gross violation of the PokerStars license agreement. The security service of the poker site has developed a number of tools that help to accurately determine artificial intelligence.

I think it happens. I dont think the pokerroom itself risks killing the goose that lays the golden eggs. Not all bots are cash winners, the easiest way to make money is to sell bots to people who want to get rich quick. It’s hard to complain to the BBB about not getting a refund on your bot that doesn’t actually win money in violation of the rules.

I don’t think this can happen at pokerstars because it’s too big a room and you can lose too much if it turns out.
But nothing can be ruled out or refuted until the contrary is revealed.
I think anything can happen but maybe Pokerstars is an exception i hope.

gday all..just my thoughts...winter time jan and feb,got a refund from pokerstars..sitngo tourneys collusion..could be bots or ? ...no other explanation...thanks darrell

With the pandemic new poker players have been born. I also began to practice much more and I am just beginning to recover from everything I have lost. Consistency is the key and of course not despair.

casinos make millions and millions of dollars so there is no way that they would use prop players right?? Why wouldn't online poker sites use bots like casinos use prop players. No matter how much money a site or casino makes the ultimate goal is to make more money. Those that argue that "poker sites make so much money why would they use bots" is obviously very naive. I don't care how much money someone or something makes, it is never enough.

Wich the chance of the worlderst larger plataform of poker have something like this??
in my opinion have a lot of people who talk things that dont really know about the sites of poker. if have bots and someone just say that with proves no one would like to play there anymore. without counting that pokerstar if you really look the way the site wins money you will see that they dont need to put boots to win more money.
