Hi guys, I'd like to ask. How do you play? In BB or in money. I tried BB I don't really like it (I played for money,I had a BB I lost probably 70% left 0.30 BB, how much I have left, I transfer to money I look at $0.30) I think why do I need this BB, personally I don't like BB. Although the game itself, if you take a tournament strategy, is faster in BB than in cash chips, in time. But in BB, you should always keep everything in good shape. I believe there is no advantage of BB over chips. (We know that no matter how professional the player is, he always switches the BB to see how many chips he has.) Your thoughts and ideas about this? Personally, I don't like it.

Seeing a table in BB is the right approach in any case, cash or tournaments, it doesn't matter.

it is important to get used to see it in bbs otherwise you won`t be able to learn how to proper administrate your chips in a game. It is easy though you just have to take in account the value of the big blind and do the math.

I didn't like playing that way either. It probably all depends on the player's habit. If something changes to me then it's not comfortable to play.

I play using BB, and nowadays as this feature is available in any major poker room I'm genuinely surprised whenever I see people still use chips. As I see it - you're putting yourself in the disadvantageous conditions. Of course, there must be an old habit for a lot of pros which is hard to shake. But still, why lose your attention and time to calculate your stacks and your table's stacks in blinds at each and every table, if you can know this info just by glancing at the table?

Probably playing in chips is useful only if you're one tabling and preparing yourself for live poker. Otherwise, it's a mystery.

I also prefer to see in cash, I have already switched to bb a few times, I couldn't get used to it.

For MTT i definitely prefer BB as decisions are based on BB anyway and this makes it easier. Money in MTT are irrelevant till you get to the paid places. For cash game maybe money is better as the BB may easily help you to become more careless.

I'm more comfortable with BB. Although everyone has their own opinion on this matter.

I believe if you play BB and then look at how many chips you have. You feel like an Ass.

I think it's fine to either look at it in money or BB. It is easy to convert to BB in your head if it is display in money. The decisions should be made in BB.

I prefer to play in money because I’m used to and in the few times I played in BB I didn’t liked, it was so strange.

I like to play in BBs because it gives a idea how more you can survive in a tournament.

I'd like to talk about BB and Chips. Personally, I like to play in Chips. And today I was almost convinced that it is theoretically profitable to play in chips.

Example: Today twitch was playing the Freeroll on poker stars and made the blinds in the big blind. I thought I would keep up with the times and do what professionals do. Initially all went well, it was 60 BB, really I didn't know how much money (already way minus the fact that I don't know how much, but as I said earlier in my post, chips or BB when I play with BB and bereklauw to see how much I have chips, I feel like a Jackass and my skill goes down). So at some point we went ollin in dvoem I had 35 BB (though I do not know how much money it is) and he has 30BB for example, and he wins. I have 7 BB left in the ratio of BB is very small and I drooped. I already wanted to push for all the contracts. But then switching to money, I saw 15,000, he had 60,000. My 15,000 compared to his 60,000, in printsype looked not bad and even good to the ratio of the tournament and the stacks are not bad, I could even sit up to YTM. By the way, I would hardly have stayed with BB. Coming from this, based on my personal experience, I can say. That I play with chips it is much more profitable to play MTT in tactical and tactical terms than to play BB.

I don't like the BB view. I prefer to see the amount of money in front of me.

BB are made for those who prefer to play in an aggressive style. They use a separate strategy with very frequent stack raises with accurate BB bets. This is for a special style of play where the game takes place according to a special strategy

I can't live without having my chips displayed in BBs, particularly in tournaments. I personally dislike poker websites that do not offer this option and I have to resort to HUDs or/and software to display as such...

I play a lot of MTT's and most of my decisions revolve around effective stack size. So for me BB's hold more value (eg my charts are based upon eff stacks - like 15BB). However, it is nice to switch to chips so you can see how many starting stacks you have from time to time.
