''Alias Changes'' on Party Poker!

Hi! Whats you think about change your 'alias' on poker rooms like party poker make now, to not provide advantages to "certain players" ?

I tink was a excellent idea, because it gives us the freedom to change our nickname, I don't like being forced to play with the same 10 year old alias and not be able to change it .. I believe that this change would not need to be unlimited but 1 time a year or 2 years would be ideal and cool in my view! I must congratulate Party Poker for the attitude of freedom and care for all players! Let other rooms think so! I really liked this news for online poker to be more healthy and fair to everyone![emoji122][emoji122][emoji3060][emoji1635]

I'm favorable with this idea, but the concept of fairness is relative, some poker rooms will never make this "alias" change possible.

Change of names, makes it harder to find bots and back door access scammers?

I like the idea too. After making a bad name that you didn't liked it, now we have an opportunity to change it as we like.

Alias change takes away all the history, you have with regular opponents, which for me is part of the game. So I dont hope, this idea will spread to other poker rooms.

I remember that I changed my username at Bwin (=partypoker) some time ago.

I think, that it's correct to have the right to change your username, at least for one time. I don't know if pokerstars will apply that, I hope so.

I think it's a good thing even if at first it throws me off a bit because I have to re-adjust and put time in to discern who the regs are, etc. etc.

I also like my new name better now on Partypoker...

Hmmm.

Hasn't unibet always offered the option to switch between a few different table identities? I believe it is limited (about 4?) but a useful option to throw people.

It looks to me like the development is going into the direction of allowing name changes, more player profiles and less tracking.
With tracking I mean that tracking software (PT4 and HEM2) can no longer support sites and HUDSON dont work - Party Poker, Unibet, not sure what GGPokers' policy is??

I really like it. Makes it more challanging for bots and more attractive (I hope so at least) for recreational players

I think this is a good idea and PartyPoker is doing the right thing in this regard !!!
