I like live tournaments but, I usually don't have enough time to play them so, I guess I'm mostly a cash game player. I do love a good live MTT when I have the time to play. I can't wait for the casinos to open back up.

I prefer tournaments, they are calmer, having deep stack has its advantanges)
But also can play some NLHM or Omaha with low buy-ins.

I like to play both of them a lot. What determines my choice are two things: 1 my bankroll and 2 the time I have to play. greetings and good hands:icon_rr:

I have found that I tend to do much better in tournaments, but I still enjoy playing cash games. I just have to be careful not to tilt away my whole bankroll.

I've been playing a lot more tournaments since quarantine, but deep down inside I'm a cash player. I just don't have the patience to play tournaments for the most part. Starting out I play pretty solid and build a chip lead just to get bored and dump off my chips later. It's really a game of aggression and patience. I prefer cash over tournaments because I get to be a little more loose and when I'm ready to cash out I can do so. Both have their place and I do both, but prefer cash over tournaments.

The one big advantage of cash games that I have noticed when I started playing them again was that there is never any pressure to play your hand when you are fully stacked with around 100BBs. You can always play as tight as you want to,

At some point in a tournament, you are often going to find out that you are short-stacked and you will feel the pressure to get all of your chips in to survive. Of course, it's not going to always be that way, but it will happen most of the time, and lots of times it happens when you are getting close to the bubble and you are being dealt a lot of junk cards.

I think it's a good idea to bring at least 2 or 3 100 BB buy-ins to a card room when you are playing cash games. It gives you an extra feeling of security.
