they probably don't have enough computer programers to color all the new decks, :)

I think most players prefer, or at least expect a two colour deck when playing live. It is traditional and completely fine for the players.

I have not played much live poker recently, but when I did, it was always with a two colour deck. I play in home games and have many sets of beautiful chips and many decks of quality cards. The cards are all two colour.

Four colour decks are for people who are really picky about their cards, have very poor eyesight, or both. The only obvious advantage of a four colour deck is online. I always use them online. Most televised events that I've seen recently also use a four colour deck for the hand summary laid over the live shot, but the players are playing with a two colour deck.

Tradition I imagine, everyone knows what a normal pack of cards looks like. Special 4 colour poker decks would be a turn off for the casual viewer.

I also think it's wrong to play offline with a four-color deck. Somehow it looks strange. Something untraditional. Although online, I always play only with a four-color deck.

I think online it's easier to use 4-colored-decks when you're multitableing and need to make decisions, but offline, playing only one table isn't as stressing and you dont need to spot flushes that fast. I also think that the 2-colored-decks are more beuatiful than the 4-colored ones.

I have never played live , do I do not know . But online , with so many tables and hands at the same time , four colour deck is very important to me , the normal deck is very bad for my eyes , I get tired very soon , mistakes in flushes are not rare . But live you play only one game , one hand , so I guess it's not such a big deal
