Where you play when you play live poker?

So far I've just played in home games or in amateur leagues at a bar. I want to get into love games at some point, but as a student it can be tough money-wise. Hopefully soon, though. I have really enjoyed live play since it can be more exciting having to actually face the other players.

If you want to get into live poker games, I know here in St. Louis they have 6 casinos that do poker and MTT tables daily, pleanty of live action here. For No-Limit Texas Hold'em (1-2, 2-5, 5-10) So your buy in should be 100x BB so far the $2 bring $200 buy in, for the $5 bring $500 buy in and for the big dog Bring $1,000 I know the comps are about $1 an hour.


Some of these guys keep a free room at any of the casino hotels and always a buffet.


I can't play with these boys though my tells are to much!

I play at Casino Soleil in Manzanillo. Not learning much because players here have the all in mentality. So just wait for a good hand and let someone go all in. No real poker skills needed here, mostly luck.

Live near Philly...usually play at Harrahs in Chester, but will also sometimes take the hour plus drive to AC and play at borgata or the nugget

I play online mostly. But when I do play live I play at Jack Cleveland casino in Cleveland. I like the $4-$8 limit.

Cool to see you are from MN. I actually went to the Mystic Lake Casino up there a few years back. I did not play poker that time though. I am from Missouri, so either I go to St louis or Kc to Ameristar casino to play live poker. There is a Isle Of Capri that about 20 miles away but they shut their poker room down.

I usually play in some pubs here in Brisbane. The buy in is cheap but you can win tickets for bigger tournaments every 4 months. I like to play there however sometime you have to stand some drunk players that play really bad and are really lucky.

There are 4-5 casinos within 1.5-2 hours of me in Toronto that have reasonable good poker rooms... I usually play at Great Blue Heron Casino, but have also played at Casino Niagara, Casino Rama and Caesars Windsor.

We might be getting a new casino within 20 minutes of where I live, so fingers crossed.
