I want to say which is the best state for you to play live, I know that Nevada has Las Vegas which is a benchmark city in the betting area, but I would like to know if there are more states where you can freely play poker in the states United

Texas & Maryland are pretty active currently and California is opening back up. Some rooms in PA are going well again. Pick up the Bravo Poker App or website and have a look.

Obviously not the best (Nevada has Las Vegas and Pennsylvania has pokerstars etc.), but I live in Michigan and we might be up and coming. Looks like poker is starting to become legalized in stages for this state!

Clearly great news for Michigan poker players, but also good for other states because it only takes a few states to set the ball rolling. Then the others may "follow suit" and next thing you know, the floodgates are open :D This would be good because USA is extremely restricted ever since Black Friday Laws took effect some years ago. I'd love to play even just more cardschat freerolls at other sites when that option becomes available :)

For me I would say that it is Connecticut since Foxwoods is where I played tournaments until Covid-19 came along in March of last year. I guess now it is New Hampshire because I've gone up a few times to play at Filotimo in Manchester.

Sure as hell is not my state of New York. Poker still not allowed in our casinos and my local one has permanently closed there poker room. I have been luck to play in other states around me and in Las Vegas. For me its close call between Vegas and Connecticut. Personally I love Foxwoods Casino and look forward to getting back to there this year once tournament poker gets going again.

Best place may have to be in Nevada AKA Las Vegas. There is always a game going there. :)

I would guess the best states would be like NV, DE, PA, and NJ - and the worst would be WA, KY, and LA. But states like CA, IA, MN, NY, OR, WI, VT, and ID are probably some of the worst for taxes on gambling.

If the question is meant for now, under the pandemic, I would have no clue. The pandemic notwithstanding, I have played in Las Vegas, Nevada, Niagara Falls, New York and Palm Springs, California. I like all of them. Seneca Niagara is the most relaxed for me because it is only 90 minutes by car from my home in Toronto, Ontario canada and I go there often, and know the regulars. Palm Springs was also fairly laid back, but my favourite is Nevada...almost all of the casinos I have played in are great.

Thanks for Comment Doby boy, I will take it into account for my next trip when this pandemic normalizes

Pennsylvania has Parx, Rivers, and Windcreek (poker room is closed now to Covid, but will reopen soon probably). Also heard that Mt. Airy has poker now. Parx is one of the best poker rooms I've played in.

I've been to several states in casinos, I liked playing in Connecticut the most, but I was there two years ago.

I live in Texas, but I am very picky about playing here...(even though Texas grew a brain and realized Poker is a MIND sport and allowed it) I simply have trust issues. Although, there seems to be some really great places to play. I do not want to name names, but some places I played felt like a hangout full of degen's gambling instead of a place for people to play poker. Not what I am into. I like the idea of 'formal', with strangers (if possible, or sane regulars) that do not play games with you other than poker lol. Plus, I like the escape from Texas...I like the idea things are tracked properly and formally for the game, I would rather pay extra to fly to Vegas to play then to be around regulars that do not take the game for what it is...egos and side emotional games are annoying AF!

Again, there are some great places to play here, and I shouldn't be so critical, but for me, Id rather go to Las Vegas and play the game of Poker without various issues...
