Canada is a beautiful friendly country with no taxes on poker winnings,
Sure it’s little bit cold in the winters but…
Cost of living is a bit high too but…
Yes, I heard that many Americans go there to play poker legally. Great country, I want to go there too.

To be honest I plan to move in the future and choose the best place for myself.
I am interested in a country with a mild climate, developed infrastructure and tax-free income for poker games?
My choice falls on Montenegro and Italy.
I am very interested in your opinion?
Many poker players changed their place of residence for this reason? Such as Daniel Negreanu.

What about you? Have you moved and changed your country?

Alex.
Probably Monaco ..
But in many countries you don't have to worry about gambling taxes because the Casino has to play them NOT the player.
For isntance I know some players who moved from Madrid to Vienna where I live cause Spain taxes the player 50%!
austria does not tax any player but the cardroom/casino.
That's why many moved to Vienna.
Fedor Holz for instance lived quite a while here.
Its also a very beautiful city and is considered the City with the highest quality of living worldwide

Haven't paid any tax in about 20-30 years, not because of exemption but rather evasion!

Have been saving it all up and buying fireworks wholesale because I know of this underground tunnel under the Houses of Parliament and (and I should not tell you this [but am going to anyway]) the plan is to wheel all the fireworks underneath in a cart, light the fuse and then run like hell.

That's the plan, anyway.

Just deciding on a date... :deal::stupido2:
That is just soo 17th century...Besides, the monarch no longer sits in Parliament, so you can't kill two birds w one bottle rocket...

How now mad wag!?! Take Ye back to your pope hole...

Have a nice day!
I want to present you with a list of countries with tax-free income in poker.

Alex.
people who live there and play there. pay taxes anyways. My country is not on this list

I don't know, I'm from Poland. Fortunately, there are more and more supporters. Maybe something will change

I think you should be a professional poker player and go around countries and see which one collects tax and which doesn't, in Brazil they don't charge tax or play
this is some solution

This article is very old or it contains false data. Romania doesn't have tax-free policy on gambling.

ireland - Green Island. Ireland has a rich gambling history. Gambling is deeply imprinted in the culture of the country and people. online poker is completely legal and tax free. Only online poker rooms pay taxes. If you're looking for a change of scenery and some live action, you'll find it here too. Ireland hosts many poker series such as the EPT Dublin and the Irish Poker Open, as well as numerous smaller tournaments.

Ireland is a lovely country. I would have no problems in moving to Dublin from norway, if I could live from poker income alone. If I win the Sunday Million I might consider it. Also we share the same viking blood from around 30% of the population , I feel a connection there.

I've heard that Montenegro and Italy are both great options for gambling, especially with their developed infrastructure.
Italy and great option for gambling? Is this a joke
Well LIVE-things might be decent there but when it comes to online stuff - not su much ...

I hate to say it but Texas. I know, it's the f@ck you state and all that but that in itself is the reason to come play here. There's no rake in any of the rooms (just an hourly fee, like you're renting a pool table), it's members only, and there's always plenty of action. That's right, no rake. It doesn't matter if you're playing $1/2 or $5/10 the rate stays the same, usually around $11 an hour. There's also no capped betting limits unless decided upon by the players at the table.
The Lodge in Round Rock/Austin, Texas is the premiere poker club right now mainly because of the size (80+ tables) and it's convenient location, right on I-35. But there are plenty of other rooms, mainly in Dallas and Houston, obviously. I really think poker is headed this way. Time will tell.

Sounds like a great place, unfortunately it's hard to get a visa to the US , we can stay up to 3 months as tourists. I stayed in Vegas for a month and that was great fun.

In today's internet conditions, I think it doesn't matter in which country you live and play poker, because the rules often change, a favorable poker country can become unfavorable for poker games
