First thanks to poker. This game is amazing and teaches a lot about people and life.
Well I'm back to playing with friends in home game after a long time playing only online, and learning here on the forum.
I feel a lot more comfortable and safe now, even though I'm getting a real beating.
That's where part of the tells comes in, online there are some tells like the time of action, and some patterns of size bets among other situations, however in live poker there are many nuances and patterns, facial expressions, traps in different ways, smartass...
I'd like live poker players to identify some types of live tells that they've noticed during their journey, it doesn't have to be generic it can be quite specific and personal.
I'll cite some examples that I realized where I'm playing:
*Player gets red in the face with value hand
*There's the tight player, who doesn't pay much attention to the other players, so he just plays his hand
(easy reading)
I've been thinking about this and how to use tells to my advantage, how to balance my tells based on the opponent's tells. There's an advantage of online, the volume of play, while live you spend more and take more time to extract the information.
