Live tourns are different than what you get from online with usually much lower places paying out spots but that really depends on your live casino.
It didn't make sense to play a daily tourn for me because you had to spend so much time with one tourn that it didn't make sense.
Lets say a daily tourn takes 5-6 hours to cash but you don't cash, then you're out of a buyin. I could play with the same buyin at a cash table and be even or ahead in the same amount of time so tourns didn't make sense.
The other thing is that cash games are going 24 hours a day unline tourns that also have a lot more things involved with them like not being to take a break when you feel like it.
