Stuff like this has got me staying away from live poker right now. He was fully vaccinated no underlying problems and then... 36 days on a ventilator and he's gone. Pretty sad.

If you feel yourself protected more, wear it. But as you are probably vaccinated, you should be protected anyway. So I couldn't blame anyone who didn't do that or did do that. Time will always tell which way is right, or every way is right.

I'll never wear a mask nor will I ever get vaccinated... if it costs me a shot at live poker success, oh well, that sux but it's not my loss, it's theirs (the house).
I've always been a much better online player anyway, I don't have any of the required skills for live, meaning, my hands shake when I have a big hand, and my face turns beet red when I lie (bluff)... so perhaps its all for the best.
P.S. If you haven't realized by now that the entire past two years or so has NOT been about some flu going around... then you're really not very sharp nor informed. We've all been played, and played very badly... poker players are supposed to understand these things, no? Apparently not, most buy right into the BS.
P.S. The casino near me still has not re-opened their poker room, telling us they won't make any decision on it until 2022 at the earliest... they hate poker players, we're nitty, we slurp down the free drinks all day and we take up all the parking spaces in their too-small parking garage when we do... so I expect the 6-month live poker experiment in Boston is over for good. I despise the Wynn (Boston Harbor) enormously for all of it but whatever, the entire world went insane so why shouldn't the casino follow suit? (card-related pun intended)

Amazing what they can achieve with the 24/7 brainwash, selling the fear, abuse, bully, blackmail etc., isn't it? They really needed to spread the tv, tech, phone, internet for this kind of new wave games......
Most of the poker players out there anyway have common sense. Just watched few days ago the partypoker live event from cyprus. Must wear mask! show. 80-90% of the players didnt have it covering their nose and mouth, just hang it on their ears, not even dealers, except the final table. (the technical staff didnt have it all....
) 1 old guy who just wear it at the beginning as jewellery just hang on one of his ear.... After that on FT, what had more views, everybody was in ninja mode.... Was really good to see, the loud noises still the minority...What do you think generally did they ever hear about mkultra and other psycho programs and did they check a military gas mask or even the industrial painting masks? But they believe a piece of clothes will protect them - and others
- from a much smaller piece of something, what is still not isolated......

Good point!In live poker, the mask gives an advantage over those players without a mask. So you did everything right
