Hello everyone.

I hope that a few Dutch people or people who live in the netherlands are active on this forum.
Hopefully the corona pandemic will be over in a while and all casinos, clubs et cetera can open again.
After that I would like to start with live poker, I once played a few hands of cash games in Holland Casino but I am very curious if there are more places where live poker can be played?

I've heard that illegal poker tournaments are played in sheds and barns, but that's not my preference.

Hi!
Holland casino is state owned and also the only party that is allowed to offer poker tournaments. It is believed that there might be a change coming due to regulations being adjusted to allow other parties to get licenses. So, currently you have no other legal option but to play at Holland casino. But if you own a car you could drive to Belgium, Namur 1-3 hours drive depending on where you live, to play live poker. A 2nd option is driving to Rozvadov 7-8 hours. Both these locations are the only places to play good live poker at this moment. I wouldn't recommend you play in illegal gambling dens as well.

Hi thanks for your information!

Live poker in Namur is new to me and I will definitely explore further what the possibilities are in Belgium. This is only a 2 hour drive for me so that is not so bad.

Rozvadoz is a bit far for a game of cards.

I'm going to Namur myself in the weekend of the 21st. Playing the 175 circus open tournament.

At the moment I'm staying in Spain so I can't go at short notice.
Can you send me more information (DM) where I can find an overview of the tournaments or events?
I have found a website of the casino Namur, but I cannot find any clear information here.

Good luck with your event this weekend!

Yes, I will DM you. It is a bit difficult to find. I tried posting a link in this thread but it wasn't possible.
