Mine live game made a big comeback last night for me. Played in a live game for the first time in 4 months. I thought I would be a little rusty, but my game plan turned out all right and I left with a positive result. My biggest cash in a long time. I had some luck to my game and my reads on people were spot on for once.

In canada nobody is playing live or shouldn't be, in case you havn't noticed numbers are through the roof,so don't know how safe it would be,let alone where ,all indoor gatherings banned, and over in the USA 10x worse

We played seven handed and the numbers in Minnesota are not great, but sitting inside day after day of going to work all week is boring and I needed a good release to take my mind off all this Covid-19 stuff. Had to wear a mask and all, but I'm getting used to them now. So I hope that Canada opens up it restrictions soon so you can play live poker again. There is truly nothing like it.

Local games and home games have rebounded and actually expanded over the last 2 months. I have no need to go to a casino to play.

Don't know. I don't think I'm going to be playing live again for many months.

We continue to play poker with a small company and this pandemic has not affected the poker game. It seems to me that we began to play more often after the quarantine restrictions.

My live game cut down from 16 to 8 players in June.
Then went to 6 player table cash.
Then stopped after last meet on Oct 17 '20.

I'm looking forward to the next invite, whenever that is.

I don't even know if any casinos open in Canada right now to play live. We had a weekly game in my home town with around 20 players but that was shut down.

Sadly our poker room is still closed for the unseen future. According ti a deal friend at the casino we wont have any live poker until August at the earliest. Any home games I used to play dried up years ago. Thankfully we have online to keep me going.

Don't know if my game is rusty, as I haven't played since mid January 2020. It will still be quite a while before I play. I only play on vacation, and I do not anticipate any travel in the near future.

To me, the key word in this thread is "LIVE"...let me explain...

Today is a very weird sort of anniversary for me...not a happy one like a birthday; not a sad one like the day a loved one died...somewhere in between...it is the 11th anniversary of my triple bypass. Now, I am thrilled that I am still alive, since it is still a mystery to my doctors how I survived 2009. I am grateful to the surgical team and cardiac care team at Toronto General. At the same time, I am well aware of the changes and limitations of my current health situation. All day long I felt weird, and my wife noticed it too. I guess that I really need to buckle down, get through the Covid crisis...with the finish line in sight, now is not the time to stop running.

I really do hope to play poker soon, and maybe join the Cardschat team for the next WSOP in 2022.

Last Tuesday I played my first live tournament since the end of December. It was really nice being able to interact with others at the table as we played. My play held up fine, and I was surprised that I could even keep track of the pot size. That had been something I was just getting good at when Covid-19 put an end to live games for me nearly a year ago. I was very happy because I enjoy live games so much more than the ones online. :)

No live games for me for over a year. Our local group of 8 stopped as soon as covid hit and so did all our nearby casinos. The border between Canada and USA closed, so even when Seneca re-opened in Niagara, we cannot cross the border. Looks like it will be at least another 3-4 months before there is any hope of a live game.
