1st Live Tourney today, 2nd place!

It's not too often that I get to brag on here so I had to take advantage of this. I played in my first live tourney today at one of the local casino's here in St. Louis and finished in 2nd out of 60. I have to tell you I was pretty nervous when it got started but felt more and more comfortable as time passed.

It was a $120 buy in and you got a $25 bounty for every one you knock out. I ended up knocking five people out so that was nice.

I've got to tell you live poker is definitely rigged . I saw bad beats galore, I was just fortunate enough to avoid them. Kings getting beat when someone called them with 56 and hit two pair. I saw someone flop trip Q's and then Got called down with someone having pocket J's and a J hit on the river giving them the boat. Definitely rigged!

A better payday today then I've ever had online so I just might have to start playing live more often.

If you play enough live, you will realize that on-line is not rigged. The same crazy stuff happens live all the time.

Harrah's was a $300 buy in so I went to Ameristar. I'll definitely let you know next time I go. My wife works every 3rd weekend so I probably head up there when she works.
