Logical reasoning test use patterns, sequences and shapes to test a person's logical ability. Here's the challenge: Use the images to make the equation true.

Are you ready? Let's see the numbers.

Chips are worth $4
Cards are worth $6
Dealer buttons worth $2
2 - 6 +6 x 4 = 8

4 + 4 + 4 = 12

6 + 6 + 4 = 16

6 + 2 + 2 = 10

2 - 6 + 3 x 4 = -16 (w/ pedmas)

2 - 6 + 3 x 4 = -4 (w/o pedmas)

I don't see how can assume that since two aces are worth 6 that one ace would be worth 3. What if somebody is holding kings?

This is logical reasoning that involves a general rule or principle that leads to a specific conclusion, differently (of course) from a card game like poker, for example, where players with their cards totally hidden, they make their bets for a central mound.

I would agree that 8 is the correct answer.

Not yet! It's important to show your line of reasoning, rather than just guessing the correct answer. Keep trying!

one last try lol . I say it is 0

Not yet! As you can see that challange seems easy. I also took a while to resolve the issue. I'm starting to think it must be some genius who developed this. Anyway, i'm not alone in this haha

Nice try, but neither of these two alternatives are still correct. Seems easy when we look for the first time. Perhaps, the question requires a little more concentration.

Review the question and try again.

Hey sorry no problem it was just a joke. The answer is 8. If your post had nothing to with poker though, what is it doing in a forum called 'learning poker' and not community hangout? :hmmmm2:

It's all right! In relation to your question, i think it would be a great way to encourage thinking and learning poker (literally), considering that arithmetic, an older and more elementary branch of mathematics, used by almost everyone in daily tasks or business, perhaps it can serve as a useful tool on this topic to help make calculations and still improve your decision‐making skills.

It's incorrect! Keep trying, because this type of exercise is a great logical reasoning training, that is, an "amusement park" for the brain.
