I'm not saying that every poker player needs to understand at some point that he needs a break this break should last for the time that you think is necessary for you, but I understand that no one can offer a global concept of time for a break.

As soon as frustration hits.
If you are a fun player (so not playing it for living) once you dont have fun anymore.
Sometimes it really helps to take a break. If you find it hard, as it got a habit, exclude yourself for few days/week
i suggest after getting a lot of bad beats or after a good win..lol take some time to rethink and build your strategies look back where you made some plays either good or bad and get better... taking a break is to relax the mind really for all the daily stress of playing this awesome game to release
