The position under the gun (UTG) is when you are in the first or a second position, you are the first or the second player to react. This is the most difficult position in poker, because there are too many players after you, and you don't know what they have or what they will do.
In fact, you have to be very careful in this position... somes hands that you raise with in the last position, you have to fold them when you are in UTG position! I would like to present you somes of these hands : A-T off, K,J off, K-T off, Q-J off... You fold all these hands Unless you want to bluff in UTG position, which’s sometime a good Idea.
If you get a big hand like A-A or K-K in UTG position, the best way to play it in most cases is to limp it, because there is a big probability that someone will raise, which will put you in a dream situation.

I very rarely advocate limping into any pot. Fold or raise. Even against a loose aggressive table. If you've got AA or KK raise! They will re-raise and then you can 4-bet and take them for all their chips.

Never limp unless you are having a monster stack and the beat will not eradicate more than 10% of your stack.

I think the blinds are more difficult to play than UTG since you must defend or loose your money.

It's correct to play tight UTG most of the time due to position disadvantage among other things, but don't limp and re-raise unless maybe you are short-stack at a very aggressive table.

Open raise like you would most if not all of your range so you don't leak information and can win the blinds plus put more money in the pot with good hands.

If you are short-stack in a tournament you probably open with an all-in with most pairs (if not all and Ax). So shove with AA and KK also.

Unless you can see a flop cheap at a passive table or some aggressive player always raise your limps (but respect your raise) there is almost never a reason to open limp in cash games.

Raise or fold especially in early position.

UTG is the worst position in poker. In this position, it is necessary to be more selective at the choice of starting hands, because we will have little information about the strength of the opponents hands.

you have to open 12% range , A9s + , 77+ , AJo + .
in a tight table you can go below that range to play only 99+

In most cases, from this position, my range of this 9J is of the same suit and higher, as well as pairs from 77 and older and closer to the final, the range narrows !!!

Never limp UTG with Aces or Kings firstly it costs you money secondly you are inviting a larger variance into the hand bad news ideally you want heads up. Aces on average win 17 out of 20 hands played kinds are 16 out if 20 hands played this is heads up of course. Always 3 or 4 bet and hope for someone to raise you if it's 2 player now all in get those chips in fast as you can ir you stand to lose your value

I am talking about the middle game, when you limp AA in UTG there is not much players hwo limps in this stage of the game for two reason : 1- they dont want to risk there ships only for limping and waiting the flor. 2- everybody want to steal ships, so they either raise or fold.
