I used to play recreationally sometimes, watch poker tv, and maybe read a book here and there and figured I was learning - lol.

A month ago I decided to actually try and learn the game (even if I'm only ever a breakeven player, that's still a pretty cheap hobby!). Since then, I'm studying upswing for about an hour 6 days a week, listening to strategy podcasts and audiobooks on my commute, and playing at least a few (freeroll) tournaments every day. I'm working on my shortstack game with snapshove, and tracking my hands with poker tracker.

Sometimes it feels like I'm learning enough to get myself into trouble and spazzing out, but I've definitely noticed an improvement in my game.

I play poker for about one year. During this time, I spent about 250-300 dollars on the game. I believe that this is a tuition fee. Usually my expenses on a game make 25-30 dollars a month. But during this month, I mostly played only freerolls and satellite tournaments. Thanks to this, I was able to build a small bankroll of $ 50. This is a great progress for me.

We need effort, time and money for learning whatever we want. When I began to play poker I invested a lot of time and effort, so trying to save some money, I didn't study with a coaching, so I spend much more money playing. Today I recommend to beginners investing 100% in effort, a much as possible in time and divide their investing in money like 80% studying and 20% playing. Based on that aspects, how do you manage your learning of poker?

and still life is sometimes and even more often against poker ..... also without exaggeration you must keep gradation and moderation ... something for something

I remembered the Pareto rule, where 80% of the result brings 20% of the effort. The same thing happens in economics and finance. Some investors invest only in ETFs and can assemble a well-diversified portfolio of just a few funds. For others, ETFs are a way to add to their existing portfolios and use them to implement comprehensive investment strategies. But, as with any other investment, you must understand the peculiarities of ETFs and invest wisely if you want them to bring you a good return.

This subject is very much depends on the point of views, experiences and the identity of the given person.
For me, studying poker - what most of the people mean under that - totally useless, waste of time. Back in the time, I read, watched plenty materials, after playing years, had to acknowledge, most of those materials are useless, can't apply in reality.
If I spend any time - sometimes I still do - with 'study' poker, it is only watching live tourneys, or online open tables in that tourneys what I think worthy to play in the future, and just watch how they play, make notes for a while without registering, playing the tourneys.
Some things I am able to better adapt by studying, some better by experiencing. The poker is definitely in the experiencing group for me.

All I can say is that I learned the basics and went straight to the online rooms. I don't have the experience to say whether the studies (which I didn't do) could be really useful. GL ALL

Money is not so easy to earn. And indeed, to earn money you need a lot of time, effort and a lot of patience.
