I prefer live, but I am lazy and online is convenient. I can plop on my couch and play a few games of poker. To play, I gotta get dressed and drive... Too much of a hassle. Lol

I would like to play live however don't have resources to do that. I feel online is harder than live. So prefer live.

I have probably played over 1000 live and 1000 online tournaments. I prefer live but online has a smaller rake and is available right at my bedside. If you have never played live I would suggest trying it. It is a different experience.

I prefer to play online poker. I believe that the main advantage of online poker is comfort, where you can play in bed, at your desk or in the bathroom. Also in online poker it is possible to simultaneously play several tables. In live poker, the opposite is true, but there are advantages.

I prefer live, but online is nice as well, just cant read faces. Online is nice cause you can go back and fourth to doing some things around the house. Also can just smoke and play cards not having to leave the table every 10 mins. Yea I know I smoke to much.lol

So i start online poker. I defenitly prefer live poker. After all online poker itsnot that bad.

I like playing live. It is more fun to see how your opponents reacts to every hand, getting bad beat or hitting a big pot. And you can read the other players better than online.

I like live poker, but online poker is much better. I can choose from many types primarily, second, fast, third, play poker in a familiar environment and atmosphere, like in an unknown place.

I prefer to play live because
a) I enjoy the social element of the game
b) I loved playing leggo as a kid (so building structures is fun)
c) I can gather more information on my opponents and make better reads
d) I can engage in the psychological/tells part of the game
e) It's easier to game select and seat select when you can see your opponents
f) Too much computer time really hurts my eyes
g) Multitabling used to be fun, but now it stresses me out
h) I enjoy the slower pace, very meditative and soothing. (this is because I have a busy life otherwise, back when my life was slow otherwise I enjoyed the stimulation that multi tabling online offered)

I'm playing online poker only. But I've never started in a live tournament. Getting to the live poker tournaments is quite expensive.

Online Poker.

Live poker is just so , so ,so ,so slow and boring.
It also requieres alot of time to eventually start with,(travelling, parking etc.)

So I play live poker only for fun with friends.

Online for the simple reason, that I do not have the bankroll to play the minimum stakes, that are offered life. Online is also a whole lot more convenient.

Live poker. Just love having the feel of the cards and clay chips. Plus I usually play for entertainment with friends so I find it more sociable and fun.

Online is defiantly faster and more convenient tho.
