Your overall balance is positive or negative
I' curios how many poker players have a positive balance? I currently start playing poker again after a long break. Since march this year I made 100euro with a 0euro deposit. I play many freerolls or tournament with tickets that i won. I windraw the money and now i wanna start over. Only this time i'm thinking to invest some of my wiinings. Until the end off the year i wanna improve my poker skills and see how many money I can win.
Until a set my goal I'm curious how many of you have an overall positive balance.
Hi. Balance is totally positive because I started the quarantine with o $ and po kerstars gave me a chest with $ 5 which I lost and before long gave me another one of $ 5. and from there I started to win some small tournaments and today 3 months later I have $ 230 in my account. now I play other tournaments and I can win or lose but always taking care of my banck
Every site is positive. Normally will join a new site only for forum games. Won a few bigger cashes from tournaments and bonus money from leagues. Only playing micro stake SnGs now, which keeps a small profit for me. My days of 5 to 8 hours of MTTs on-line are over. Quick couple of SnGs a week, is enough to keep me happy in poker. When in the mood, jump in and then shut down the computer after a short session. Pretty much the same at the bar, one and done. Move on to the next task.

I have been playing poker for over 10 years and I donít think that there are people who would have been involved in any business for so long if they had suffered losses! Of course, I do not win big money, but I always stably plus what and wish everyone!
Hi georgel2384. It this time I have a positive balance on 2 sites, but to tell the truth, that could change any time. Downswings happens, and there isn't much I can do about it, except to play less. I wait it out. GL to you

The balance is currently positive. But I think the main point in this is stable big wins. Unfortunately, I have very rare more or less large wins, but they even out my losses and move my bankroll more or less in a positive direction.
re: Poker & Your overall balance is positive or negative
I had to deposite when I stated back 2 years ago and I got broke.
Since then, I trying to working out through the freeroll and I was able to build up a Bankroll.
Nowadays, I'm playing some Micro too despite of the freerolls.
Playing poker for fun guarantees you a positive balance. We are all ready to pay for some pleasure, but by playing a freeroll tournament and spending the won tickets, we will be paid for pleasure. It’s not some big money, but I accumulate a few hundred dollars a month.
I should've exercised stricter bankroll management strategy. I started off playing 1 cent 2 cent and was making a little money. It all went down the drain when i went on tilt and lost $10 playing 2/5 cents. I recovered that money quickly however playing 10/20 cents and 5/10 simultaneously. I actually went up $2 too. Anyways after that it was just downhill with bad bankroll management and discipline and i ended up losing all $50 of my bankroll. Nice . Overall im down $50
Iíve never made a deposit and currently have about $130 on poker sites after having withdrawn $160. I started playing freerolls, especially the CardsChat ones and then played micro stake tournaments. Never going to be rich but itís entertainment that pays me. Nothing else can do that.
I am in the position of always being in the positive, because I have never made a deposit, This is all due to the fact I am a patient player and keep an eye on my bankroll, If I cannot afford to play I don't and it is that simple.
My bankroll was at $219.00 before the start of the covid pandemic, and I didn't play a lot of online Poker because I preferred live games at my local pub, which I did well at, I went to several Casino's playing in big tournaments, which were paid for by the league system we had at the pub, so even they were really free-rolls.
My bankroll now is over $465.00, So I have doubled it over the lock-downs, because my Live games were stopped as all pubs and Casinos closed, It is possible to build a decent Bankroll from free-rolls and I am living proof, and I would call myself a mediocre player, not a great player, but I do sometimes win.
The secret of playing well is not throwing money into the game hoping for that one big win, but to have patience and playing within your limits, that makes bankroll management all the more important, I do not consider myself rich, although I am not in need of the $465.00 I have in my bankroll, I don't withdraw it, because the money is not that important, I play for the love of the game and never enter a game thinking I am going to win.
I aim for passing the bubble, then look towards getting to the Final table, then and only then do I think about winning the game, All things are possible if you put your mind to it, and take it one step at a time.
