Yes, I'm addicted to gaming. But the game is the only thing in my life. I live alone I don’t drink, I don’t smoke, I have no other passion. As long as I could work, until then the work was my passion the English have a word for this: "workoholic". But unfortunately my health no longer allows me to work so I stay in the game.

it seems very hard to do, If you love the game and play many hours a day. Stopping would be a big challenge

I love poker, playing it and studying it, with all the logistical conditions I lived for and from poker in a professional way

I can give up poker for a while

I may not play poker for half a year, but then I return to the game. I want to learn how to play professionally and earn additional income.

I found the following proposal in Scandinavia.

Check if you can hold out:
- Refrain from playing one day a week.
- Give up one week a month.
- Refrain from addiction for a whole month a year.

What do you think of this proposal?

Interesting side effect:
If you persevere, approx. 39% of all days of the year are free of play.
I see gambling as a feeling full of greed, anger, and revenge, and it's one of the easiest things a person or professional gambler can feel quickly. Even a 10-year-old who does not know how to gamble can feel greedy and angry if he is gambling with money, and even for professional gamblers, some of them cannot control their greed or their desire to get the money back. Therefore, a gambler who knows when to quit or when to come back and can control these feelings deserves to be called a professional gambler.

many players, and in particular ordinary people, are familiar with such character traits as greed and greed.and when it comes to money, such people simply lose control of themselves.poker is a gambling game and strongly attracts and attracts people who want to earn money easily and quickly.but they forget that playing poker is multifaceted and before you sit down at the table, you need to cultivate such a quality in yourself, how and when you need to stop.

hello.it all depends on the mental abilities of a person,if he can't control himself, then he will become addicted,if not, then he can play.

Most of us are addicted to money, sugar, meat, coffee, sex, soap, internet, electricity, social media, ... and many more It would be hard without these thing for most of us, it depends what your definition of addiction is For me it's needing something to be happy ... for some others it may be repeating a harmful behavior to ourselves. Bruce Lee was addicted to martial arts, Tiger Wood to golf, and Micheal Jordan to Basketball So some addiction can make us better, we just need to be careful and be addicted to good thing and try to stay in balance within our life
Anyways, hope everyone the best and be careful out there, the world is full of sharks ;)

They probably consider a gambler who is constantly losing money and cannot stop playing to his own detriment as an addict. Here is a professional player who plays constantly and adequately with a certain schedule, how can they call him addicted? The test is designed for an amateur.))

Based on that test and my current gambling habits, I doubt that I am addicted to gambling. I am reluctant to give up hard earned money on games of chance. Don't get me wrong - I gamble (poker, slots, lotteries), but I know my limits and they are a small compared to my monthly income, and do not negatively impact my lifestyle.
Should my fortune increase significantly, like winning a lottery or a major poker tournament, then I would increase my gambling budget accordingly.

I hope no one wakes up to realize they're a gambler.

If everyone all of a sudden quit playing and paying for poker, all the sites would disappear. Not too worried though. I really don't think the vast majority of players will want to stop......me neither.

I can't believe it, what a good proposal, hahaha then if I don't meet those parameters leave the game according to that amount of days proposed then I'm addicted, excellent, because if I could leave it but the truth is I won't do it because I really like this, in simple words is that I'm addicted, hahahahahahahahahaha.

Family first, poker second. I learned that lesson years ago and do believe my family appreciates it. So, the answer is yes. I go a lot of days without poker but I'm usually too busy or having too much fun to miss it.

Hopefully friend that it has worked for you if you really have a supposed addiction, in this case to the game.
In truth, thank God I do not have that addiction.
I think that the biggest problem of addiction is if it interferes with your work, entertainment or family situation, then I think that addiction becomes a big problem.
At least if I want to go to the Casino to have fun, if I want to play poker I play to have fun. It is logical that I get happy if I earn money hahaha
greetings friend:):):)
