I only play tournament poker and was wondering how many others are out there.

MTTs only.

I think i m not lucky in cash games, neither tournaments. Then i choose play only freerolls tournaments

+1 for freeroll tourneys. As much as extra money from poker would be welcome, losing money seems like it would be in my forecast. But I'm relearning fast, so probably low stakes tournaments and some SnGs might be soon.

Freerolls , Big gurantee tournaments.
Mostly cash games.

In the many years since I played poker, I have had the opportunity to try both.
I really like tournament poker, it is definitely my favorite. But I don't really like the cash game !

I play MTTs only as they are easier to have good bankroll management (only your buyin is in danger) and if you get lucky and get deep provide big prizes for relatively small buyin. In future i would like to also try some cash game though but i am still not ready for that.

I play cash games at times mainly .02 .05 and i like .40 .80 stud but i like the low buy in turnys with nice guaranteed My ROI in turnys is very decent. so id say im a turny player not a cash game guy. I play mainly at ACR

I much prefer playing tournaments, I never really liked cash

Lost a lot of money tilting in cash, in tournaments you can go all in and if you lose you only lose what you already lost BY. For me is better to manage my bankroll but maybe when a got a bigger bankroll I return to the cash tables

I play both, but play small amounts.

sometimes i prefer cas games 5/10 8/16 in pokerstars, when i get short, play tournements.

Only MTT or SitNGo, cash game are not my cup of tea.

As a beginner I prefer sit n goes. Preferably with less frequent blinds and ante increases.

I prefer MTT'S,,,and there's nothing sexier than turning $5 into $500 by beating 500 others.

I play all but low buy-in fee.

I only play cash games with friends and I'll tell you why.

Going to your local casino for a cash game is cool and all, but there are players who work in tandem, colluding by tipping their hands to each other which is cheating. I've never witnessed it, but let's be real. There are players working in teams somewhere out there.

I was going to explain how this is cheating and how it's a disadvantage for everyone else at the table, but I think everybody here gets it. Great...now I gave you all an idea! I would never do it because I'm not a scumbag and I don't want to get shot. Hey, some places still keep it Wild West. You and your buddy get caught cheating, good luck!

So, I prefer tournaments where people are randomly seated and only play cash games with the homies.

If you play cash games at casinos, get to know the people there like the regulars. Beware of strangers who seem too friendly with one another, or just plain suspicious. Keep a tab on everybody.

I prefer tournaments because they bring me the most profit. I almost do not play cash games.

I like the tournament better but the cash game is also good.
In tournament you can lower stakes win bigger and play more times.
In cash games you can fast win big or can fast lose big.
