World record attempt mtt at PokerStars

Not sure if this has already been posted(cant find it) but for all non-US players pokerstars is attempting a world record tournament on the 4th of Dec, as part of their 10th anniversary celebrations.

buy-in is $1 total, winner gets guaranteed $50k, but the blinds are sh*t, 5 mins for each so turbo. maximum of 200k players, and prizepool is $250k.

yeah i saw that, hope one of us takes it down, nice result for a UKer if they do. You even get free entry if you reload for this using a special code(cant remember what it is lol).
Im in torquay, just like blackpool, but no tower, but we've got palm trees and sunshine lol!

I saw them, thought they wasn't worth the hassle and I'm guessing they are profible but would have to put in some volume and for what it's worth, I don't think I could be bothered, just buy directly in. I think a 20c buy-in (top 2 getting paid) would be much more better.

I really wouldn't bother with the satelites. Agree with ram that they should have 20c ones with top 2 getting the seat instead. 10 players with 1 seat awarded is pointless.

Ya, iirc top 5 UK/Ireland finishers get a ticket to the $10m gtd. Sunday Million and the rest of the top 100 UK/Ireland finishers Sunday Storm tickets.

On top of that, if someone from UK/Ireland takes it down, there's a $10k freeroll for all UK/Ireland players that took part. Pretty sweet deal. I'll take it down for us so we can play that $10k freeroll.
