The truth is I do not know. But if it were to lose popularity, player traffic would be greatly reduced. And this last could be seen in 2 ways.
On the one hand, there would be fewer recreational players, this would negatively affect regular players.
And on the other hand, having little impact the Texas mode, the number of professional players would decrease, because they will migrate to the most popular poker modalities, where the largest number of recreational players is.
So my question is, if the fashion of the Texas Holdem modality ends, would this new scenario be better or worse for the regular players of that modality?
I think the answer to this question is, it depends on the level of play where you participate.
The micro-limits scenario will probably get worse, because the number of recreational players that can be found will be much lower.
On the other hand, it may be more profitable (for regular players) to participate in medium and high levels of betting, because the number of professional players will be minimal, and because there may be more opportunities to take advantage of.
