Why are PLO mid stakes more expensive than Hold’em

I started playing mid stakes in PLO.
But for some reason, it’s much more expensive than Hold’em mid stakes. Any reason for that?

(Also, thank you for all the tips and recommendations. I got my hacked account back.)

My guess is their are less players to collect from to cover the prize money.
