I am in agreement with many on this subject, I Play because I enjoy the ups and downs of the game, I find it exciting, and exhilarating, and as long as you stay within your comfort zone it doesn't have to be exspensive.
In Live games you have the added bonus of the social interaction with Friends, and On-line gives you the chance to improve your game play, by practicing for as long as you want.
Poker is far much more than a way of making money, it helps to keep my brain active and at my age that is really important to me, I want Alzheimer's to stay away for as long as possible (lol).
It has no language barriers, as everyone understands the rules, and it doesn't matter where you are from, you can play against anyone who has the time and inclination to play, it is a hobby for me just like any other hobby and a hell of a lot of Fun!
