for sure holdem in my opinion is better than omaha omaha as you see we go with good hands and as worse hands in the preflop wins

I like ALL poker games. My favorite is omaha hilo...studhilo...NL holdem....But I don't play holdem very much at all online. If I go to casinos I play it. Yes I fit in the category of a degenerate gambler


The difference between a responsible gambler and a degenerate gambler is that the responsible gambler is gambling with money they can afford to lose and they have good bankroll management. The degenerate gambler, on the other hand is gambling with money they can't afford to lose and have horrendous bankroll management.

Honestly! i love 8-Game since you get different styles of poker
it switches every new level and they cant read you that good since its a different game everytime..

but if i have to pick one other game its probably Horse you have to think a lot but it makes it fun having a challenge trying to figure out if they have something or have nothing.

2nd fav is Omaha (HI/LO) also a lot of thinking but the low hand saves you a few times if you cant hit the high hand.

Without a doubt my favorite is holdem and just for the fact that it is what I feel most comfortable with, although Omaha interests me a lot too.

i don't like plo at all...way too much variance...though i can play it of course. I think it is very hard to be proftable at plo, other than finding a fish to play hup. It's a very good game for the rake though...lol

I also like mixed games..8 game...11 game ( with badugi, badeucy and badacy ) in the mix), and good old fashioned limit horse.

It's good to have more than one egg in your basket, and players should imo be rounded, and be able to play all the poker disciplines.
