Vent on Cardschat. Or if the bad beat happened in a Cardschat freeroll, boycott visiting the forum for 3-5 days depending on how bad the beat is.

Anyway just got knocked out of the CC thursday freeroll holding KK against 9Tos. Got his straight with the Q on the river. See you all in a couple of days I guess hahaah

Hello Excellent People:

After you get that speacial and unforgoten Bad Beat, "that special is never" what do you do to get your pieces of mind strong and fullfil again?

Sometimes I drink a shot of Macieira, is a Portuguese Brandy very, but very sexy and relaxing.. And you, let`s see better and sexiest therapies...

:7h4::2d4:

when just starting playing poker..
I would throw mouse directly into monitor.

but now... it happens , it will happen...part of game.
no way to avoid it, forget about it.
:D:D:D

Just think to myself "it's a bad beat, I'm on the other end of it This Time, but, next time I'll be on the right end of it". I used to tilt really bad and just go gung-ho but that never got me anywhere, obviously!!!!!

The question is, what is there that you can do about bad beats. If you don't tilt from bad beats, you are way ahead of the game. That way you can just keep moving from one to the other, and you will catch the right cards.

when I lose a badbeat , I go out for a moment of poker rooms , take a breath look distracted and think of other things to forget the bad times , after that you have to analyze the hand to see if any error was committed

Suffer all the items that fall under the distribution, but if you don't let this negativity it is very useful to relieve.

Sometimes i starting to tilt, but i know that it is wrong, better stop play poker, because you can lose more money. Take a break, do other things what you like to do, go walk for outdoors, comunicate with family or with close friends.

When my money goes in as a massive favourite, I start doing the happy dance.
When my opponent hits his miracle card, I shout [expletive!].
And then I continue the happy dance, because even though I lost, I won.

This game is all about the long term, not a single hand.

Try to mentally reset yourself as a new hand starts almost immediately and you can't dwell on e past to effect future decisions in poker. Have to approach each hand with a clear head

To tell you the truth, I use to become angry, then I changed and became sarcastic.
Over the years it becomes natural to feel or do "nothing". It becomes part of the game.
