It is very different to compare players from different epochs in poker but for me the real way to measure greatness is by the time you have spent playing at top level. And i think that Doyle Brunson is the living legend and greatest player of all times.
I have to think Eric Seidel is right up there... he is still a winning player after all these years, and has seem to be able to adapt his game as poker strategy has evolved

I think the best players are Daniel Negrianu, Phil Ivey, Liv Bore. In addition to them, there are many great and strong players, but frankly it does not affect our skills or results.
