Nothing will happen, as was hold'em and Omaha, so they will remain top. I also like Fusion and 6+. The others are not so interesting. For me.

Holdem and omaha are the main enterntainment, however I am in love with horse and 8-game as well. 6+ was a very intelligent move. For me there is a huge supply.

Nothing will ever be above holdem. Believe me. There will always be new games in trend but nothing above only pure game left

In my opinion the holdem will always be the most variance to play poker in the future.

as mentioned is difficult to surpass holdem, I'd say impossible, holdem is very complete in addition to entertaining and what grew majority and adopted as the preferred game:ciao::ciao::ciao::ciao:

I don't see hold'em being replaced anytime soon. It is one of the "easiest" games to learn the rules and such to which makes it appealing to the masses. It provides enough action and such to keep most interested. Personally, I prefer stud and horse but that is not as fast and easy for a lot. Hold em is sticking around for a long time.

I don't see Hold 'em being displaced completely, but Omaha (& its variants) do look like they're worth learning.

OFCP looks too much like a novelty. While it may be a great game (I've never played), it just seems too complex for mass appeal.

One could reasonably argue that something eventually will, but at this point there is nothing on the horizon that could.

PLO baby!

Just kidding. It has been said for the past 10 years that PLO was the next Holdem'. I play PLO mostly, and I am happy with it being the game that action junkies turn to after Holdem'. It keeps PLO very profitable. :)

Holdem

I doubt any game will replace holdem as being the #1 poker game to play.

I do see more & more people playing Omaha as well as more Omaha tournaments popping up. Lots of different Omaha games to play such as 7 card stud, Hi Lo ect.

Good luck all !

For me, holdem is the most interesting type of poker. In second place is Omaha.

Those who have played poker online for several years, they will realize that over time variants were added the Texas Hold'em, some were accepted and others were forgotten, but they all have in common that they are based on Texas Hold'em. It is not surprising that yet, despite the years, It is still the number #1 poker game, that is mainly because it is relatively easy to learn (it took me 5 minutes) and provides enough action (we like to go all-in) to keep us interested.

Thanks to this and all the publicity given to it (we like to watch poker on TV), I can think that Texas Hold'em has passed the test of time, there is no game with which it can be replaced, and it will remain in our hearts forever.

I'll bet you $100 that at some point in time Texas Holdem' will be replaced. :)

I think that over time, the holdem's popularity will only increase. I believe that in the future, technology will be improved and this will allow us to play poker in new variants for us, such as virtual or holographic tournaments.

I think it will always be Hold'em. Maybe its only going to get bigger as states are slowly making it legal to play online and casinos seem to be popping up everywhere. Maybe one day something will come out and it will take over, I just don't see it happening in my life time. I think its such a good game and competitive that people never really get tired of it, it is a non stop learning process when playing this game. Always new players to play and new and interesting tournaments to play in.

Good afternoon! Six months ago, I tried PkanDom Pineapple in the room, I really liked it, it’s impossible to bluff in the pineapple, just mathematics. If I come up with a choice, I’m for a pineapple. Sergey

6+ Hold'em is an interesting game, but there is little or no training, but there are no bits either
