For me it's making the same mistake time and time again. I keep telling myself that I'm not going to do it and then at just the wrong time impulse takes in and I do it again. I always lose when that happens.
What upsets me the most is my poor internet connection. Especially when I play in my favorite tournaments. But for me, this is not a reason to stop playing. I think that in the near future I will connect an additional backup line of Internet communication and then life will be much better.
For starters, I have never thought about quitting poker... I have too much fun and enjoyment playing poker to ever consider quitting... but, I think that if you are just a recreational player, as I am, that is an easier mindset to have. If I was attempting to Play Poker for a Living, well then, I can easily understand coming to the decision to quit poker and spend my time on some other endeavor that provides a more steady and reliable income.
But as I reflect on it I would have to say the Most Frustrating Thing, for Me, is when I do not play my best at key moments of the game... Bad Beats, No Cards, that is just part of the game and while I do not enjoy it, lol, I understand it is part of the game. Playing Poorly though, is Just All On Me, And That Is Very Disappointing and Frustrating!
The most frustrating thing for me is when I am about to reach the goals I have set for myself. And then because of one or more self-inflicted mistakes, to miss that goal. That throws you back quite a bit and is mentally quite a lot of work.
I probably don't take poker seriously enough to quit it. It's a hobby for me - I play when I can. I take breaks that are not related to disorders - they are related to more important things that surround me. If we talk about upsets: of course, defeats are upsetting, but this is a game, and we play it - someone wins, someone loses.
The attitude of the players is really frustrating. I usually play without chat, but not so long ago I started playing with chat enabled. It is really hard to be disappointed in people with whom you have communicated well in society.
In addition, playing in the group league, it is frustrating that due to a number of factors that have occurred in recent months, the game is not going very well, and there is a feeling that I cannot cope with emotions and cannot focus on the game. If it was an individual league or a simple tournament, it wouldn't bother me much. But in this case, the fact that my game affects the team's result is frustrating. These are probably the only things that really upset me.
The biggest frustration I have in poker is when I have a good hand and lose with a very inferior hand, for example, in yesterday's free tournament this happened to me, as you can see in the image I had the big blind which is supposed to be the best hand in Texas holdem That pair of five is not that it is a bad bad hand but that in terms of the number of players at the table it is one for a very low hand

I like to play poker, I'm always being beaten, but I don't think about giving up, every day I get frustrated because that hand didn't hit or I lost with a strong hand to the villain who presented garbage, but I already understood that poker is like that.

Getting rivered is the worst.... especially with a dominating hand prior to the river. I find that I consistantly get rivered- when I am deep in touraments on GG, PS and 888.... I don't get rivered as much when I play 'live' at a casino... but online.... brutal..
