Being a professional in any field is tricky - there is always something new to learn.
I consider poker as a sport, but unlike many other sports we do not have any top level organizations which would give out pro licenses. So it is up to ourselves to decide...

When someone could be seen as a poker pro ??? My definition of pro player looks like someone who has no other source of income than poker, and that person is able to create sufficient money flow by playing to support himself.

Hi.
I'm not a professional player. Poker is just a hobby for me that gives me pleasure. I would like to become a professional player, but unfortunately I do not always have enough free time to play and study.
Good luck.

Poker is what I do, been playing 20+ years. It's played a significant financial role in my life for well over 20 years. I made enough to start a small business. Took 6 years off playing only few times a year. Got sick was bed ridden played wsop play chips to get poker fix built back up to 100 billion. Sold chip bundles and chip dumped and bought into bodiva ( shit) BOL built 50 to 650 cashed took 50 to ACR ( rakeback and Good tournaments) account at 130 also put 50 into club at Pokerbros that's up to 120.... Building on-line affiliate business with the peanuts... So while it's all peanut money still pro...
First time round was making 20k+ year before I got sick...
Still peanuts but still that's pro...

))) I'm definitely not a professional player and I can't advise you anything, except for general words that knowledge and experience wins, and you need to constantly learn new things and constantly analyze hands from your past sessions.
And I have a number of qualities that do not help in any way to become a professional, and the first of them is my laziness)).
Well, I kind of explained the qualities necessary for a professional only on the contrary)).

I think professional players are players who make a living playing poker. That is, players who can consistently make a profit in my opinion, are professional players and this is what distinguishes professional players from amateurs.

In my opinion, the level of the game, that is, the number of mistakes made, is determined by a professional player or not !!! The mistakes made also include the skill of bankroll management !!!
Unfortunately, I admit too many mistakes both in the game and in bankroll management to be a professional !!!

a professional poker player is one who has no other source of income than the game of poker, and who can only support himself from the game of poker for life, not just a few months :)
