Yes, I have the same problem, when there is no card for a long time, then I start playing for a wider range and lose

I know what prevents me from winning at poker, I'm sure of that, but I can't do anything about it. Why? Because a person is not a calculating machine and there are too many different "BUTs" ... from addiction to bad health or mood. There are only two options: either play or not play

What prevents me from being profitable in poker is that I have no perseverance.

Not enough time to improve the game. To put it in an exaggerated way, I only know the combinations. So far I play only for fun, but I dream that poker will become an additional source of income)

Bank roll management is key to the whole thing . I have none lol. I think getting bored late in a game is pretty common too.

Hi Friend

I think it would be the mismanagement of your winnings, because the gameplay is evolving and it is necessary to learn new things every time.

I believe I am a profitable Poker player, simply because I have never made a deposit on-line, ever, have built several Bankrolls from Free-rolls, and even in the Live games I can and do sometimes win the occasional game.
The thing that stop's people being a profitable player, are themselves, they lose their temper, and go on "tilt", or are overstretching themselves and their bankroll, trying to achieve what in most case's is impossible, and that is to become a Poker Superstar making millions in prize money.
You only have to play in a huge MTT game to see the numbers for yourself, I have played On-line where there were over 10,000 entrants in a MTT game with an $11.00 buy-in, I didn't pay that because I won a seat in a free-roll satellite game, but the point is there could only be one winner and Thousand's upon Thousand's of loser's, I was one of them! But what have I lost? not the $11.00 buy-in, that's for sure!
Being sensible in your approach to the game, playing purely for fun, accepting defeat when it happen's, because it will happen more than your Victories, and respecting your Bankroll, because there is no such thing as a bottomless Bankroll, all help me to be Profitable.

When the fun Stops, STOP!

This diagnosis is very difficult, because of course, there are a number of factors to influence. However, I believe that the biggest influence comes from my bad bankroll management, which is influenced by greed (Wanting to win more than I can pay to play) and TILT.

That's the philosophy I try to adopt, but I don't have the emotional control for it.

The PokerStar clense: This is when PokerStar is trying to eliminate a bunch of players at a time by setting trap hands. For instance, right before the money, you will get a good hand along with one or two other players. Then everybody goes all in and the biggest stack will almost always have the best hand and eliminate everyone else's. Or, you will flop the top two pairs and the other guy with the bigger stack will go all in and get runner runner for the flush. Or, I´m just being paranoid, hahaha. Happy Hollidays

I believe its related to not learning from past mistakes or situations.

Was you bet too big or weak?
Do you regularly play out of position?
Did you lose simply due to being outdrawn when ahead at the flop/turn - so many players these days are prepared to risk everything on a flush fish when they are behind either pre flop or when flop comes down.
Do you know when to check and likewise when to raise and reraise?
So many questions and there is a lot more besides these but i always try to look at each situation and analyse it and if i lose - ask myself did i make the right call/decision and learn from that.

I need to play at least 500-600 hands every day. It develops the mind and poker thoughts. Success is achieved by the one who goes to his goal every day despite all the failures. And it doesn't always work out. It's silly to hope that if you sit down to play once a week and wait for the money to start coming to you by itself.

I think I don't have enough patience, because sometimes I get bored for a long time without cards, so I go for a bluff, for which I often lose

Bad physical condition, sometimes after frequent series of losses, bad psychological condition, in the second case I take a break from the game for several days. Worst of all, when you are constantly physically ill, it is very disruptive and interferes with the game.

I think if you can control your tempo not to greedy you stand a chance to go deeper in any tournament.

In a way you are correct.

You won't always be dealt a good hand in a timely manner to save your tournament.
And it's okay to play worthless, but you have to know your opponents correctly for that.
