What do you prefer on playing poker?

As for me I like play tournaments ,although it is very difficult.Sometimes it is very difficult to control yourself after a bad beat.I try with every game to raise my skill level,but it is not always possible to play well because luck also plays a big role in poker tournament.

Usually the tournaments are longer and we can make the mistake of getting tired of playing and start playing bad hands and so leave the tournament.

I really prefer SNG, more specifically 6 man SNG. My strategies play best on this field and often I can win by Semi bluffing and playing aggressive since players are so much more focused on bubbling rather then playing at this point. Only time is tough is when you are playing expensive tables in the $100 and $200 range.

Ring games and tournaments come in second. I can't stand sitngoes they take way to long with low payouts imo. I do still play a sitngo every once and awhile. Another thing with ring games is that you can sit out at any time and never be put in a disadvantage with your chip count.

MTTs and SNGs are more interesting: different styles of game, from big stack to small. Pleasure to be the first-second with a pile of money rarely. Сash takes less time, but monotonous and boring a little for me.

High stakes cash games. Gives you an adrenaline rush when you are playing for big money pots.

Worst feeling though is fist pumping when you have the nuts and turns out villain has the exact same hand on the river. *facepalm*

lot of players who play cash games like tournaments

very easy to spot these people and take advantage

you can also leave a cash game whenever you want

if you're getting terrible cards in a tournament and don't feel like playing, too bad you can't leave or you can but you get blinded out

but i like tournaments too

if we equate poker to sports betting, then a cash game is like making many single wagers while a tournament is like betting a 25 team parlay if that makes any sense
