The biggest difference is speed, you can play a lot more hands online.
The other way you can read your opponents better live is to focus on body language.
I prefer live poker, it's a much bigger experience.

I think its nore strategic live... you see all the player reacts in each hand when he see his card....onnline is more easy to play

I feel like there is a lot more pressure when playing poker live. You might get nervous aound people and play worse than online.

I would think the opposite. Online you cannot see the player and so makes it more difficult

  1. Convenience: Online poker can be played from anywhere with an internet connection, while live poker requires players to physically be in a casino or card room.
  2. Speed: Online poker is faster-paced, as there is no waiting for other players to act, while live poker is slower due to shuffling and dealing physical cards, and waiting for players to act.
  3. Player pool: Online poker has a larger pool of players, while live poker is limited by the number of seats available at a physical table.
  4. Availability of games: Online poker offers a wider variety of games and limits, while live poker may have limited options, especially at smaller casinos.
  5. Game conditions: Online poker has features such as hand histories and automatic tracking of stats, while live poker requires players to manually keep track of their play.
  6. Social atmosphere: Live poker offers a social atmosphere with face-to-face interaction, while online poker is more anonymous.

Yes, I agree with what the guys say, live poker in the company of friends gives warm emotions and fun (especially when there are only fish around). I haven't had any practice with professional poker yet, but I think it's pretty boring, I don't see the difference between online poker, but playing long at one table is boring for me..

Online poker is much more streamlined, however live poker is more serious, for the simple fact that you should be focused on that and not on doing different things.

I play live poker only for fun and then only among friends, and of course the difference is noticeable. In online poker, there is no way to see an opponent and communicate with him, but in online poker you can play many tables.

I would be interested to read everyone's opinions. I think that online poker is usually more convenient, more comfortable, on the other hand, live poker is another energy, adrenaline, it's more fun and you also have to pay close attention to everything, they are very different!
I never really played live, but I would really like to, it would be a nice experience!
Nothing beats the feeling that you have when someone is dealing and you have all the chips in tour hand. Yes, it's slow, but I think it's the best way to play poker.

I think that live poker is a little bit complicated than online poker, because you have to control all your body to hide your emotions, while if you play online, you only have to control the time. But at the end it depends on each person

Live is played with other people around a table where you can see them. Online well that's played over the internet from your computer or phone.

Always find online poker is a lot more aggressive. Personally I find it a lot more boring so want it over and done with. Where live is more interact and people are not willing to shove

Online, you need to concentrate on the opponent's stats, analyze hand histories. In a live game, you can collect information about the strength of the opponent's hand through his tells - physical clues. On the Internet, you can check the opponent's stats, hand history, in order to understand how to make the right decision. Or you can use third-party statistics services to understand what kind of player is hiding under the next nickname - a regular or a fish. In a live game, you can “break through” an opponent only through friends and acquaintances. Online poker requires more analytics. Live game - concentration on the opponent and his emotions.
I think live poker is harder for beginners than online poker. It's hard to keep emotions together sometimes.

Online poker is more comfortable but makes many players use tools that differentiate them from others.

I believe that the live game is much more competitive and makes the good players really stand out without the tools that online ends up helping.

Online poker is played over the internet, often with faster gameplay and more hands per hour, while live poker is played in person with physical cards and chips, more social interaction, and slower gameplay.

live you feel that adrenaline of taking a bad or that bad seeing the dealer dealing the cards, you can curse the dealers personally, but online there is no way to do that!

Live requires much more from the player as it does not have the tools that many use online.
