Hi. I wonder if there are any rules of conduct for professional poker players? Established forms of communication? What punishment for violations

Robert's Rules of Poker can be found pretty easily and talks about things like string raises, improper bets and stuff like that. It would depend on what you are talking about. I really hate angle shooters.

In addition to the general rules every casino have its own additions or alterations which are in place. When in doubt you can always ask the dealer or even the manager if it is more serious.

I think that there are respectful relations between professional players. And I do not think that there are insults between them. And in online poker, I often see players insult each other

I did not understand the meaning of the question, but I think that if a person makes a violation he should be punished regardless of whether he is a professional or not.

If you are talking about inappropriate table chat such as racial insults, you can take a screenshot of the chat and report the player. I was told by a representative that they would disable chat for this person as a warning.

Thanks for the recommendation. I had not heard to this list of rules and etiquette but have downloaded it already- it looks really excellent.

Typically, professional players are adequate people who adhere to generally accepted rules of conduct, but of course, there are exceptions. I think punishment can be different, ranging from financial penalties to disqualification of a player.

It seems to me that professionals are intelligent people. I have not met such players in my life. Not everyone can be professional. The poker game is aristocratic. And players must behave accordingly.
