Tournament strategy

Lets discuss Texas Hold'em Tournament Strategy. Open to all points of view, from donks to pros. I just want to hear different ways of playing different hands, at different points in the tourney. Lets start by talking about playing small pairs early position early in the tourney. I personally like to get in cheap and hope I catch a set on the flop. I'm pretty willing to lay down if I miss the flop, unless I can call a bet with good odds I.e someone bets small and gets 2or3 callers in front of me. Lets hear how you'd play it.
