Cardschat "visionary" title is for reaching 500 posts and "legend" is for reaching 1000 posts. Especially to those visionaries and legends of cardschat, how long did it take you to reach these levels of forum activity (without spamming)?

I ask because I am a fairly chatty person who joined cardschat solely for the poker forum community (I actually didn't find out about the freerolls until months later xD). I've currently been here for about half a year and I am almost at "visionary" status.

For those who haven't reached "visionary" or "legend" (perhaps Rock Star or another level), how long do you think it will take you to reach these levels and are you excited about reaching this level of activity? After all, there is really no benefit I know of for reaching this level, other than the title change (and maybe bragging rights/ego lol).

I just reached Legend status last month, after 10 years on Cardschat.

i had to check my post count and was actually surprised to see that i have that many. i can't say when i hit the 'legendary' status but i was probably early on as i was a lot more active with posting.

things were also a bit different when i first joined and that really got the post count going. there was a lot more banter, humorous posts, trolling, discussions, etc going on back then that i just don't think would fly today with members and such. it's just not the same energy as before. i feel like things are a lot more serious now where is was a bit more light-hearted back then.

personally, i also feel like i don't have the same rapport with members now as i did back then. it was pretty close group of members that really motivated how active i was.

Thanks for sharing how the forum community has changed. I may be a newer member to cardschat, but as far as "rapport with members now" - you are okay in my book

I like light-hearted conversation as well, but I can understand what you mean about most forum threads being a bit more "serious" now.

This will be my 500th post, so with this I'll reach "visionary" status Took me a little over 6 months since I joined, but that is just because I like being active in the community.
