I wanted to raise a question here about tilt.
imo, there is tilt for having played a bad hand, and tilt for having taken a bad hand. And the tilt of the 2 together.
The thing about playing a bad hand, it's not even that strong for me, the problem is that I keep thinking after the hand about how I could have done it differently, in X possibilities, during the game still, I know this is wrong and I should think about it later, but no I can.
The one of getting a bad one, also doesn't affect me that much, if I've made the right move.
Now what shakes me the most, making a dubious move, and in the end taking the bad.
There are some factors that tilt me even more.
For example, if I'm playing against a random, it doesn't affect me that much.
Now if I'm playing against an acquaintance, tilt increases a lot.
If the known is donkey, it increases more. And if you're one of those donkeys who think they know how to play, then the brain feels like it's going to crash.
Like, the guy pulling the hand he was losing, hitting 1,2,3 outs, and chuckling, celebrating a lot, it burns me too much, I know it's a big leak, and I need to improve so I'm posting it here.
I believe this is related to ego, of losing to someone with a clearly lower level of play than yours.
But how to control it? how to soften?
It's very frustrating to feel that.
Does it happen, or has something similar happened to you?
Any indication of study material for the psychological part of the game?
.
