I´ve been asking myself what is the best thing to do in order to grow up my bankroll, I have studied a lot the past few months and put all that knowledge on practice on pokerstars and pacific poker. The results are good but I feel that the world of online poker has improved a lot, there are better players thanks to all the people who teach us what they know and winning is getting more difficult every time. I live in mexico, a country where there are not many players. The casinos are full of people that are easy to beat but the game on live is too slow against the online game, what would be more profitable? The strategy against players that we don't have any reads should be the same as online?

I think I would approach it from another perspective. You said live poker is too slow compared to online poker. So, consider this. If you were to devote money to live poker would you be able to stick to a disciplined style or would you get too bored waiting for good hands and watch your skill level drop through the floor?
Secondly, think about the flexibility of stakes. When you're playing live and are having a bad session you're stuck playing whatever stakes the casino has, whereas online you always have the option of going to play at lower stakes to cool off and collect yourself.

If you a good poker player, for sure it,s better to play live poker games, because it,s more interesting and as it seems for me it,s easier to win this, because in online poker sometimes you can have a great loosing period and you just need to keep patience.
I think it,s much more easier to win in live games.

I find that a potentially more profitable online game. While playing online you can play 3 or 5 tables simultaneously and thereby increase your income from the game. Personally, I only play online.

If you've got access to good games online and you can multitable, then the answer is almost certainly online: way higher volume of hands and lower rake.

Where live has an advantage is having access to worse players at higher stakes (ie: you can find absolute donkeys playing $500NL live that you probably won't find online). There's not always going to be one of those at the table though, so in most cases the volume you have access to online wins out.

Live poker is more profitable than online. There are to many gamblers in online poker and usually they are so lucky and beat your AA, KK hand with 7-2. In live poker there are not many of them and usualy in live you can play against people who plays for fun and losing money, you can use that and eaen some good cash.

Hi.
Online poker is more profitable. The dynamics of the game is faster and therefore the profits will be bigger.
Good luck.

It depends on who you are. Even some pros have a terrible online game and vice versa. Some players get intimidated being face to face with players so they have more confidence with Online play. Me personally I make more in Live poker with my style but I also play higher stakes and higher buy in tourneys. When I'm playing live I'm focused on poker and only poker. Playing online theres a lot of different things that can distract you. Again though just depends on personal preference

I live in Mexico too. I like playing live at Caliente Casino either tournaments or cash which they are run only weakens and there is bunch of bad players donkeys that you can make good profit of. Some just like the game and want to drink and have fun, where they don't care much of the money. Online it seems a bigger field where many people are playing from lots of country's where they value money and are grinding with all they can which makes it hard to win and be profitable.

Online and live games are very different. Online is much cheaper, faster and readily available to play which means that the field is much bigger. In live play though buyins are much larger so winning a single game live can easily earn you more money than you will get by grinding for hours and hours on several tables online. In your particular case you should just play for some time both online and live and see what is most profitable for you in your region and in your local casinos. There is no universal recommendation. Pros play both live and online so maybe best would be to combine instead of selecting between live and online.

Live is more easier coz u can read the body language of the player ..online its range based guessing which may not be correct all the time
