But we're up against uber player, who, if he wanted to bluff at the pot would obviously not bluff a 3x pot overbet and if he was value betting a flush the same can be said. We therefore know that he has to have a full house of some kind, but as a wily pro we know that he will not call our shove with 98 (unless he figures we have seriously misplayed our hand) so the only time we're getting a call here is when we're beat (aces full) meaning we are getting know extra value from raising.

In fact, by the way we've played the hand I'm surprised that KGB made the call so quickly without even considering quad 9s. Dramatic effect I guess..

Sorry, but a nut flush may call us or possibly a lower full house (non-A set or 9-low). I push every single time there. Now that's an argument not to play for your entire BR, but in poker I'm looking to win the most money, and I believe the correct play here was to shove.

Of course also you may remember he said "I don't think you have the spades, I'm all-in". That makes no sense either, if he really had a hand that didn't beat a flush and didn't think he had the flush he'd have flat called.

This may be why I'm a not so good ring game player. It's what I would be doing at a $25 max table for sure.I have never played any higher stakes, and never live.So as far as the poker IQ test results go,they are right on the money.I'm a low stakes winner and I may be slaughtered at high stakes. That is a fact I'm willing to accept, for now anyways.

the answer is pretty definitely to shove. it's heads up, inflating hand value dramatically by itself. i realize it's deepstacked, but if you're only calling with the near mortal nuts, it'd be +EV for an opponent to raise all-in every time a remotely large pot developed against you. an "expert pro player", as it describes him, isn't gonna be that nitty or exploitable. also, his frequency of having AA decreases a lot when you consider he didn't 3bet pre

fwiw, i answered shove on the test

I think the key to the question is the stack size. 500 BB is VERY deep. No tricky pro is NOT going to jack it up preflop with AA. In essence, you can deduct that you have the nuts as far as the likely scenario goes. You must re-raise all-in IMHO. Likely he has the nut flush.

I'd have to purchase it to get a score? Sounds like they saw me coming from three tables away! Think I could spend my money elsewhere.

Pokeryall your score is at the top of the page that they want you to pay for. You just get a lot more info for the 10 bucks.

I got a 120, I will take it.

Zach, I think your analysis is also flawed as I do not think there is 1 right and 3 wrong answers. I would imagine its scored more on a scale, therefor normalizing if someone went through randomly.

I got 98, but it took me 10 minutes, rather than 30, as I was bored by the 20th question.
Nice thread though, thankyou.

118, should be winning but i am losing instead :(

I guess it's easyer to fold in those pictures than to fold when you really flop bottom set
