It's strange. I also live in Belarus, but I pay a tax of 13% of my winnings.I live in Belarus. At us the tax to a prize makes 12 percent that is equivalent to surtax. For payment, you need documents confirming receipt of the winnings, for example, an extract from the bank account, in which it is indicated where the money came from. The tax is paid once a year for the reporting period in total for all transactions.
In my country (Venezuela) nobody pays tax, the online game is not regulated, Venezuela is a paradise for a pokerstars player
The U.K and Canada do not tax gambling winnings.
In Canada, we don't pay taxes on poker gains.
in my country is not paying taxes, winnings are not eligible to taxes
Awesome. I do plan on moving to Canada one day. Hopefully not to long from now. Hoping im accepted there since i am Mexican and have no clue what to expect. I would love to be tax free on my winnings. I would be back on pokerstars man that would be great.
So you just play and no taxes? What's the cost of living like up there?
Some things are same price as in states, like meals in restaurants, gas is more expensive then in the states and sadly alcool beverages are more expensive here also. I think that the cost of living is a little higher then in the states but we have free medicare but we don't have your beautiful warm weather . It's the perfect time to emigrate, the prime minister is putting the migration number up to 340 000 for a few years.
Global warming is making Canada a much warmer place these days! hahaNot sure I want to deal with the cold winters in Canada, but it sounds like it's money to be made.
