At PS once, I got AA, with it cracked on the river by a runner runner flush. Some other guy was like..."You know you can't play AA here, WHAT were you thinking?". Next hand I get AA again. This time it holds sending someone to the rail. I replied back, "I was thinking back to back". 2 hands after that I got KK.

My eye's tongue was firmly in cheek reading the whole thread, not gonna try and seperate the therata from the merely humorous.

A word on the long odds thang re/ PS. I once read( my one foray into the poker conduct twilight universe) where someone had calculated the odds of whatever they was on about at 68,000,000/1. First off, I seriously doubt the veracity of their calculation; secondly, just as an estimate, how often would 68 million hands get shuffled up and dealt on PS, all games, .dom and .net?

In just under 17 months, I(my account, including the wife) have sat at table for more'n a million, and currently there are 73k and change players on line there, 5 minutes ago. I'll leave it to smarter/cooler heads than mine to come up with a viable estimate, but it seems to me even 68m would cycle thru relatively often.

take your christmas star and go die
I knew Joose was joking before I even opened the thread. Plus, who else can say the above and not get insta-banned? LOL! Maybe Misch. If I said it, you'd all call the looney wagon to come get me since I'd obv be considered to have gone off the deep end. Gotta love this place!

The odds of one person getting aces or kings or queens three times in a row is ~1:400,000. A large number but hardly astronomical compared to 100,000,000 hands a day. That means it will happen about 250 times a day!

I had pretty much a similar situation happen to me at a live tournament. I get AA and when a couple thousand. 2 hands later I get KK and win a couple thousand. The next hand I get QQ and somebody pushes me all-in with JJ and they win with a set knocking me out of the tournament:(

runs like this do happen, in 1 tournament the first hand i had aces, second hand flopped nut straight, 3rd hands flopped nut straight with open ended straight flush draw and 4th hand had pock queens. :)

Shame i wasn't at computer though since i was in the toilet and thought i had 10 minutes before start of tourny. Got destroyed in tourny aswell since one guy raised on the button into my bb, as shortstack push with q,9 and get called by his pock aces, which flops quads and wins. online poker must be rigged as if that was live, and 5th ace would have turned to cause a redeal.

I was swindled
