Sober... If you take the game seriously you have to put some time to prepare for your poker sessions(to be close to your optimal state both mentally and physically) as IMO studying to improve your game isn't the only thing that we'll influence your results especially long term...
I think that if you take something seriously, and especially if it involves money, it should be taken seriously and with a lot of respect and attention.
so I believe that if you play drunk, it's something I don't think is very smart.
but it's just my opinion.
Always sober. First because I don't drink. Also, I don't think is a good idea to play poker drunk because you can easily make mistakes that you probably wouldn't if you were sober.
My drink of choice when I play poker is Chocolate milk. Yes I am serious. WHen I play live I drinl chocolate milk aso I dont get hungly as I play and its good for me. As for online, I dont drink chocolate milk as often but its never alcohol.
Hi.
I very rarely drink alcohol and if I do, I never start playing poker. In my opinion, playing drunk is irresponsible. Irresponsible players rarely achieve good results, because in fact they rely more on luck.
Hi.
I am categorically against alcohol. I believe that alcohol only leads to negativity and disappointment. And playing poker while drunk is generally stupid.
Good luck.
