Signs of progress in poker

Are there criteria by which you can determine the progress in poker? Is there any way to understand that you are ready to move on in your career as a poker player?
Often people start thinking to themselves, “I won $600 in the last few days, so I improved my gaming skills.” Unfortunately, such a statement is not entirely true and it is definitely not worth focusing on your own progress only on short-term results.

Beyond the money itself as progress, I take the following into account to determine my improvement in the game: being able to analyze the plays made, what mistakes I make when I lose in a tournament, analyzing if the reading of the opponents is correct, knowing manage and adapt to the different instances of a tournament, when to play loose or tiht and similar situations are what I use to determine my progress
