I receive it too. I think it's justa a note, remembering to players that there is this option at configurations.

I suppose you mean in poker stars. If so i also received it and did not do anything unusual to provoke it. I think that they send it to all players as precaution because they see the increased traffic caused by quarantine and they need to protect their business against possible lawsuits by people who go broke by warning you in advance.

Just a general notification pop up (but a good reminder)

I am not sure but it might be anticipating UK government guidelines as the government is trying to play a more active role regarding gambling addiction (they just placed measures to bar punters using credit cards to bet etc.).

Gambling only for disciplined players. If you do not have the discipline, you better find another hobby. The discipline is first and foremost a strict adherence to the bankroll management system.

Never got anything like that. Would probably not even read it and decline. Last thing I would want to see. Be to much like a nagging soon to be ex-spouse.

While I don't play on Pokerstars where this pop-up message appears to be from, I believe that it is always good to have this cautious notes for everyone, even if you personally follow responsible gambling and bankroll management, to help those who are struggling with this. While it may be a nuisance for some, it can be a useful reminder for others, so for that, I commend them for doing this.

I think it's a government requirement to have this on every website or on every casino. I see this all the time.

If you feel that sometimes you can't control yourself and just lose your money, then you better start playing freerolls. Thanks to freerolls, you will gain experience, improve your skills and obviously be able to develop your discipline.

I believe they are just covering their backsides to keep up with new regulations surrounding responsible gaming

I treat it as I would an advert although this one I take a little more seriously

Good luck out there

Hi Friend.

I already have $ 30 in my account and that message keeps coming, but before, when I broke, showed up, but I recharged and it mysteriously disappeared. :D

This message can be turned off in the pokerstars settings. There is an item to disable the banner. If I understood you correctly

In many Countries It is the poker site's responsibility to make sure they do as much as possible to make members aware of their own responsibilities when it comes to Gambling.
So Pokerstars does all it can to stay within the law with some of the more stringent Countries laws and because it would be too much hassle to have different software for each individual Country, they remind everyone as standard practice.
I have received E-mails from different site's that now offer provision for gambling responsibly, and I totally agree with it, here in the U.K. it does not stop at poker sites, but includes, all forms of On-line gambling from slots, Bingo, Sports Betting and anything else where the customer is being asked to use their own money to Gamble with.
All forms of Gambling should be considered a Fun pastime, and not a way to make easy money, because the House will always have an edge, and you can only win money from players who do not understand that. That is why I always remind people that "When the Fun Stops, STOP!" Because it is not fun to lose your own money, and I can assure everyone I have never made a deposit on any site, and all my Bankrolls are made by taking money off gullible players.

When the fun Stops, STOP!
