This maybe the way of the future. Problem with is the avg micro/low stakes player(majority of poker players) isn't likely to wanna spend close to 1k for a headset. I'm a bit different then the avg poker players as I have sim-raced as a hobby for almost 15 years now and I haven't even bothered with a VR headset yet even for sim-racing. I likely wouldn't bother for poker either. So not sure you'll get many takers maybe some of the more honest higher stakes guys would be interested given the stakes they play.

Poker is probably the game that doesn't really require such radical technologies. Virtual reality will not allow you to become better, on the contrary, it will only distract you and most likely the results will not be very good. Poker is a great online entertainment and a cool live game, everything else is superfluous
